Holiday Season Reflections 2006

We hope that all of you had a successful year and that you look forward to new and exciting goals and challenges in 2007. May this coming year be a significant stepping stone towards achieving your dreams.

The holiday season is always a time to reflect and also to be appreciative for all the positive things in our lives. As you continue to strive to reach your life and career goals, take time to recognize and appreciate those persons or things that make a positive difference in your lives.

Let’s take time to recognize that the person who can make the biggest impact upon the quality of our lives is our self. Yes, that person who stares back at us in the mirror each day. That person can be your best asset or your worst enemy. Make that person your friend. Treat that person as your friend. Hopefully, that person is making life management decisions that are well thought out and are heading you in a positive direction.

You choose just how you are going to treat yourself and others. During this holiday season, choose to treat others with the care and respect that we would like to be treated with. Go out of your way to do something especially nice for someone else.

As adults, it is important to recognize that life continually offers choices. We become the choices we make. We have the ability to choose our attitude towards everything we do in life.

We also have the opportunity to achieve what we desire. The distance doesn’t matter—only the first step is difficult. Sometimes the first step towards change is a big one, but whatever choice we make becomes a challenge to pursue.

Resolve to develop that kind of positive attitude and make choices that reflect a commitment to your goals and the long term well being of your family.

May the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts and stockings with love, joy, gladness and the desire to make your life dreams come true.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
