OHAC Scholarship Applications Mailed

Applications for the Ohio Housing Authorities Conference (OHAC) Scholarship for 2006 were recently mailed out to all of the FSS clients who are currently attending college. If you are currently attending college and did NOT receive an application already, please contact Marty at the TMHA office and an application will be sent right out to you.

This scholarship is for $750 cash to be utilized in any way that the student wishes. TMHA has had 4 FSS clients win this scholarship in previous years, but none recently.

The application process is fairly simple. It does require completing an application form, submitting two required reference letters, and also completing a 500 word essay on “What Influenced You to Further Your Education?”

Should anyone require any assistance in completing their scholarship application, Marty would be glad to assist you in any way that he can.

The deadline to submit a scholarship application to the TMHA office is Friday, February 24th, 2006.

The six scholarships that will be awarded state-wide will be presented at the 2006 OHAC Spring Conference which will be held at Quaker Square Crown Plaza in Akron, Ohio on Thursday, April 20th, 2006.
