Consumer Credit Counseling Program Offers Hope

Too many bills and too few dollars? Often financial problems caused by:

  • Loss of income
  • Medical bills
  • Overspending
  • Financial emergencies
  • High interest rates

Have you been:

  • Late with payments or unable to make full payments?
  • Getting threatening calls and letters?
  • Using loans or credit cards to make ends meet?
  • Facing wage garnishment or bankruptcy?
  • If so, the Consumer Credit Counseling program operated at Personal & Family Counseling Services just may be able to help.

Here is what consumer credit counseling can offer:

Budget Counseling
Get help setting up a workable budget to avoid overspending.

Debt Management
Already too far in debt? A counselor will try to work out a reduced payment plan between you and your creditors.
Many creditors will agree to lower payments.
You can make one lump sum payment to your counselor each month.
Your counselor distributes your payment to your creditors.

There is no monthly fee charged for this program.

The benefits obtained if you make your payments on time include:

  • Threatening calls and letters stop.
  • Monthly payments are made.
  • Bankruptcy is avoided.
