Find A Job At The Job Fair On June 9th

The Employment Source located in the Monroe Mall at 1260 Monroe St. in New
Philadelphia will be hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, June 9th, 2004.

The Job Fair will be held from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of a job fair is to match employers with current or future job opportunities with job seekers looking for employment.

Several area employers will be on hand to discuss career opportunities with their organizations.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume to distribute to the employers on hand that they may have an interest in working for. There will be no cost to attend the job fair.

At the time of the publishing of this article a list of the attending employers has not been yet distributed. However, brochures containing more information about the job fair will be available around mid May. The brochures can be obtained directly from The Employment Source or by contacting Marty at the housing authority office. In addition to being able to talk with employers about their job opportunities, participants will be able to take advantage of two free seminars. The seminars topics include 1) Effectively conducting your job search with helpful tips being provided, and 2) How to survive economically when you are unemployed and between jobs with money management tips being provided.

Direct any questions you may have about the job fair to The Employment Source office at (330) 602-2855.
